I've been ...Thank you for the great guest post! I've been hopping around through several of Mr. Corsair's blog tour postings and have been really intrigued by what he's written in each place. I liked this mini-essay a lot! I'm a huge lover of crime fiction and have spanned multiple sub-genres in my reading (although I've never read Hamlett or Chandler - I know, I know...), and I must say that I'm interested less in those books that purely present a puzzle and more in those that explore the darker side(s) of humanity. I mentioned in response to another blog posting by Corsair that I prefer realism in the books I read, and the fact that he was defending his own use of realism in this novel made me lean toward reading it. Now, having read this post as well, I'm *sure* I want to read it. It's been fun "touring" with you so far, and I'll continue doing so!

PS - Ms. Boland, I've got several of your books in my TBR pile (on my Kindle) and can't wait to read them. I'm also now a new fan of your blog :)Holly Bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13281574165037823036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8172750544124698740.post-80712226370735023042012-06-04T17:01:48.341+01:002012-06-04T17:01:48.341+01:00A very interesting and insightful post--so much so...A very interesting and insightful post--so much so that, although Absolution is at the top of my TBR pile, I'm glad I didn't get to it before reading this.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05310307325376889512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8172750544124698740.post-1365894282860371382012-06-01T15:44:35.216+01:002012-06-01T15:44:35.216+01:00I'm glad you think so.Thanks for the comment, ...I'm glad you think so.Thanks for the comment, sir!Louis Corsairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06782754848835330387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8172750544124698740.post-18955253670439606792012-06-01T15:39:58.894+01:002012-06-01T15:39:58.894+01:00Thank you, Mr. Jones!
